LeBron Raymone James Sr. Born 30 December 1984 is a professionally-trained American basketball star. He is known for his role as King James and is considered as one of the greatest basketball players of all time. James has been awarded four NBA championships and four NBA MVP Awards, four NBA Finals MVP awards three All-Star MVP awards and two Olympic gold medals. James has the highest points during the playoffs, the second most career points and is seventh in assists in his career. In addition to being an NBA All-Star, James was selected as a member of an NBA All-NBA Team on 18 occasions. The third highest amount in NBA Finals ever was ten which included eight consecutive games between 2011-2018. James was chosen to be part of the NBA's 75th Anniversary Team for 2021. He became the NBA's first player to score 10,000 points, rebounds and assists in 2022. James played basketball during his time at St. Vincent St. Mary High School, in Akron Ohio. The national press praised James as an NBA superstar. As a prep to pro it was it was the Cleveland Cavaliers chose him as the top pick in the NBA draft in 2003. In 2004 he was named NBA Rookie. He soon was one of the league's best players, and won the NBA MVP in both the years 2009 and 2010. James went free agency following his failure to earn championships in Cleveland. The decision to leave Cleveland in order to join Miami Heat, announced on The Decision, a popular television show The Decision, is considered one of the controversial free-agent moves in sports history.
