LeBron Raymone James Sr. (born December 30 1984) is an American professional basketball player with the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). King James has been widely recognized as being one of history's most outstanding players in basketball. Michael Jordan is usually compared in discussions about who's the greatest player. James has won two Olympic golds and four NBA championships. James is the player with the most points in the playoffs the second most career points and is seventh in assists in his career. In addition to being an NBA All-Star, James was chosen to an NBA All-NBA Team on 18 occasions. The ten NBA Finals is the most ever. He has also won eight times consecutively from 2011 to 2018. In 2018 James was also chosen to join The NBA 75th Anniversary team. James was selected for the NBA 75th Anniversary Team in 2021. In 2022, James became one of the few NBA player to score 10,000 points in his career. James was a basketball player at St. Vincent St. Mary High School in Akron Ohio, where he was raised. The national media praised him as a potential NBA star. To prepare for the pro game, it was the Cleveland Cavaliers chose him as the number one overall pick during the NBA draft of 2003. Named the 2004 NBA Rookie of Year he soon established himself as one of the best league players winning an NBA MVP award in 2009 and 2010. James did not win the award with Cleveland, and then left Cleveland with the status of"a "free agent" in the year 2010. The move was revealed in the TV special The Decision.
