LeBron Raymone James Sr. - born 30 December 1984 - is a professional American basketball player. James is known by the name of King James and is considered as one of the best basketball players ever. James holds the distinction of winning four NBA championships. Four NBA MVPs. Four NBA Finals MVPs. Three All-Star MVPs. Two Olympic golds. James had more points than any other player during the playoffs, has had the second highest number of career points, and has the seventh-highest number of career assists. The NBA All-Star has made the All-NBA Team 18 times, which is a record. James was also named for The NBA All-Defensive First Team 5 times. In total, he has played in more than 10 NBA Finals, the third-most of all time. This includes eight straight between 2011-2018. James was selected to be a member of the 75th Anniversary Team. And in 2022, he became the first NBA player to ever score at least 10,000 points in a career. James was a basketball player at St. Vincent-St. Mary High in Akron Ohio, where he was raised. Media across the country portrayed James as a future NBA superstar. He was a pro-prep player and was selected as the highest pick of the Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA Draft of 2003. When he was named the 2004 NBA Rookie of the Year, he soon established himself as a premier player in the NBA receiving the NBA's MVP award both in 2009 and 2010.
