Christopher Peter Meloni was an American actor, best well-known for his part in the popular television show Law & Order Special Victims Unit'. Since his time at college Christopher Meloni has always been fascinated by the world of acting. He studied acting at University of Colorado at Boulder. Though he has been active in both films and television, but it was his character on the small screen that brought him fame and a large fans. There is no doubt that his characters have been able to capture the attention of viewers by playing characters who are on either sides of the law. His first project was a television show, however, he was later a detective for the NYPD. Because of his appearances on smaller screens, he's been awarded numerous nominations for the prestigious Emmy Awards as well as PRISM Awards. His signature striking blue eyes that are said to make the actor look gorgeous. They have helped to play the rough characters in an enthralling manner. The year 2006 was the last time he appeared in the People's magazine's Sexiest Men Alive list.
