Awkwafina

Awkwafina, an American performer and actress, started with a series of rap songs dealing with issues related to sexuality and race. The career of the singer and actress grew to Hollywood following the release of an album of raps. Nora Lum, born in Forest Hills Queens to Chinese and Korean immigrants, was her first music experience. She was a trumpet player. After a classical and jazz education She delved into hip-hop in her teen years. Concentrating on school she majored in journalism and women's studies in college even studying Mandarin in Beijing during a brief time. Not until after graduation did she start focusing on music. Her song My Vag which was her response to Mickey Avalons My Dick, became a viral hit across the Internet and was later featured on her debut LP Yellow Ranger. Some other hits that went viral included Queef track, and the witty NYC Bitchecity tour. The latter song was linked directly with another Awkwafina project NYC a travel guide published in 2015. A musician and author was as her credentials, she set her sights on acting in a third project. In addition to early series like Girl Code and Tawk - she appeared in the movies Neighbors 2 Storks & Bad Rap. She had a breakthrough role in the year 2018, with several notable films like Dude Ocean's Eight as well as Crazy Rich Asians. That June she issued the EP in Fina We Trust.
