Anamaria Martinca is an actress from Romania. She received the British Academy Television Award Best actress for her Channel 4 film Sex Traffic. French, German English and Romanian are fluent languages. The father of her mother was an actor and her mother was a violinist. In 2000, the Youth Actor Gala Mangalia awarded her the Best Female Actor Award of 2000. The year 2008 saw her recognized as an European Shooting Star" by the European Film Promotion Board. She was a teacher for four years at the University of Fine Arts Music and Drama George Enescu in Iasi. bAnamaria Marinca is an Romanian actress who was born on the 01st of April, 1978, in Iasi Romania. Anamaria Marinca, an actress with Romanian origins, made her screen debut in the British-Canadian television film Sex Traffic. She won the British Academy Television Award Best Actress for this role. Apart from her stellar performance in her first film she will also remember her part of her role in the Romanian film "4 months 3 weeks 2 days" which earned her many awards including an award from the European Film Award of Best Actress from the London Film Critics. She starred in Cristian Mugiu's Romanian film "4 3 weeks, 4 months and 2 days" (4 months, three weeks and 2 Days) that won her the Palme d'Or award at Cannes Film Festival 2007. The film also won two awards in addition, the Cinema Prize of French National Education System (FIPRESCI Prize) as well as the Cinema Prize. Youth Without Youth by Francis Ford Coppola was another film that she was in. She portrayed Yasim Awar in BBC's 5-episode The Last Enemy miniseries. Marinca has appeared in Oliver Hirschbiegel's Five Minutes of Heaven and the Romanian drama Boogie. In the following year, she was a major role in 2014's Fury where she played Irma her German aunt of Emma.
