TerylTeryl Rothery is an actress from Canada. She has appeared on stage, on television and in film. Janet Fraiser is her most well-known character in Stargate SG-1. Rothery started dancing at 9 years old and considered 1995 to be the beginning of her career as an entertainer. The first of her professional performance opportunities as a performer came in the musical Bye Bye Birdie at age 13 and also in the Marpole Community Theatre's production of The Sound of Music at age 14. As a young person she performed dance in The Irish Rovers variety television series. When she was 18 she was the first to appear on television in the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation television special for Halloween.
